Dear TheBattalion.tv viewers:
By popular demand, and a lot of you being pests and keeping me on point...the BATTALION E-Store is coming next week; just in time for Christmas!
It will be a small offering at first; tee-shirts, hats, posters, post cards and yes...our very first series; Twenty-Four Hours with the San Francisco Fire Department on DVD, all twenty-eight webisodes. ...Read more

Dear Viewers,
We were connected with a internet helmet cam distributor and we got burned.
If you are looking for helmet cams; go direct to the manufacture and you will get great service and you will get what you are promised.
Go to: wwww.oregonscientific.com
They make these cameras and they will give you the service you deserve.
This is strickly my thought.
They are not a sponsor and we have absolutly nothing to gain. We do not sell helmet cams.
Be safe.

Dear Viewers,
Tonight is the second half of the 24 hours with Squad 3 from Webisdoe #11.
With so many series alternating each week it now takes a really long time to finish a 24 hour tour with just one location. We wish we had more funding and more editors, then we currently have.
WHAT WE NEED IS YOU VIEWERS TO SPEND A LITTLE OF YOUR TIME HELPING US.
The manufacturers need to know you are out there. Please go to our BLOG and FORUM sections and let them know you are here. ...Read more

Dear Viewers,
I am back from a 48 hour tour with the crew of Engine 43 of the San Francisco Strike Team.
This team of firefighters are on Type 1 Engines and are brought in to protect structures after the devestation; and they did a great job.
This was my first time with a strike team and I got a lot of great footage of all the firefighters at base camp and what goes on with thousands of firefighters waiting to be deployed.
I did not see any big fires myself, but as you know, this series is about firefighters and not just fire. ...Read more

Just received word from David (aka DRF) as follows:
DRF is still hangin with the bigboys! He and SFFD strike team were deployed to hot spots in Yorba Linda Hills, California to provent and protect homes for any future fires. There appears to me more fire fighters at this moment than hot spots!
The Battalion's Wife - Marni Furtado

Hi again, from David's wife.
Just heard from David, he is with the team in Riverside California right now. Still waiting to be deployed either this evening or early next morning! For now, he's just trying to catch some zzzz's underneath a tree!
Stay tuned....

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog!

Dear Viewers:
I am proud to introduce myself! I am David Furtado's wife (aka DRF - producer of this series). I dropped off David last night in Sylmar, CA. at base camp. Last I heard today (at 11 AM PST), he and San Francisco Fire Strike team (along with several other teams) were being held at camp just waiting to be deployed.
As you are probably aware, fires are still raging wild out here in So Cal; so, I will keep you posted as I hear back from DRF.
Best regards,
Marni Furtado

Dear Viewers,
