We all need to come together to support Dave and his crew in getting this series on TV. These folks do an absolute fabolous job in showing what firefighters do on a daily basis. What I really like about this series is that Dave travels around the country to film and just doesn't concentrate on one part. It gives us all a chance to see how things are done all over. I am really excieted about this possibly coming to TV and I wish Dave and his folks the best of luck. You definitely have my support. Good Luck Guys!!!

Hey Brothers and Sisters,
Join with us to try to get the Battalion on tv. Email the Discovery Channel and let them know your feelings about getting this show on tv to share our stories and our concerns to the public. Tell all of your friends, brothers, and sisters about doing the same. Lets try to get our firehouses back open and proper staffing for the rigs.
Thanks,
CFDFiremedic

I am a volunteer firefighter here in NC in a combination department. I love the battalion's episodes it shows what firefighters go through day in and day out and in a positve light. They have also been letting people know what is important about all the cutbacks facing all of us today. I think a lot more people would watch and be enlightened if this series went on a network.

Dear Battalion Viewers,
We are now; The Battalion-The Series; Fire-Rescue-EMS...
By now, you have found our most recent webisdoe with the Milwaukee Fire Department. We are always trying something new and now bring you a three-part-mini-series with Engine Company 30/Truck 12, as they go through their 24 hour tour...this Friday will be part-two.
In case you have not viewed the CBS-San Diego clip in one of my previous Blogs, and maybe you should; this is the first real press that we have received and I am telling it like it is...no more cut-backs of first responders.
I was told several years back by someone in government while filming in San Francisco not to let the public know how bad it is...I now don't care what they say...what can they do to me...
I never wanted this series to become political, but someone has too.
We CANNOT go to three on an engine, it is very dangerous and it is happening NOW! ...Read more

I'm a volunteer helper at the SIGMA team in The Hague. That is a team that exists from volunteers and is founded by the Dutch Red Cross. It provides medical support in large scale accidents like plain crashes, disasters (like a dam burst) and as precautionary measure in large events like huge concerts. So I know what it takes, how hard and how dangerous it can be. I've got a lot of respect of how the emergency services are organised in the U.S.A. Here in the Netherlands, the ambulance isn't even part of the fire department. In a medical emergency, only an ambulance arrives and sometimes a police car for (non-medical) support. I've learned a lot of the American EMS.
So: honor to all EMS!

Dear Battalion Viewers,
Thier will NOT be a show tonight, we have experienced total system failure at our studio. We hope to bring you the next Milwaukee webisode tomorrow night, Saturday,July 18th, by 5:00PM PST.
Sincerely,
TFP Post Production

Battalion Viewers,
We have received some great press for CBS in San Diego...they did it right...

You know we put our heart and souls into the programming we try to bring you weekly.
And, you know we have been about the job and most recently about the cut-backs.
We show the cut-backs with webisode #4 with Prince Georges County and Engine 29 in our East Coast Series, it really shows it at the end...
We will continue to do our best to keep the Battalion Series on the cutting edge of the real deal...
It's not just about taming the beast...
The Battalion: Fire-Rescue and EMS
Be safe...
Sincerely,
DRF

Dear Battalion Viewers,
I really wanted to put up photos each day from our film shoot here in San Diego California but it did not happen due to the unavailibility of internet service for me and my laptop from many of the locations and time restraints; everyday it's a new location, a new crew, and a lot for me to keep up with.
Yesterday, we had several auto accidents and the crews of Engine and Truck 12 did some amazing work to save the lives of the victums of those incidents.
July 4th was a lot of fun, I was on the Fire/Rescue Boat all day. Crazy action, they rent jet skis to anyone and most have no idea of water safety; but, the beachs were safe, they no longer allow alchohol on the beach and that stopped a lot of activity that had become very dangerous in the past years.
This department really does it right in so many ways. ...Read more
