David has asked me to do a big favour for him and the tulefog team but also for all of the members and guest out there. And that is to offer a few words about my take on the show and there work. I have been a loyal viewer of the battalion for over a year now I have been here since san francisco and I must say my love for the show and for the job itself has never changed. I know alot of you want to know where the fire is but truth be told the show is not all about fire!. It's about the Firefighters!!!. It's about the job be it a fireor a Medical. Like Dorian says at the beginning of the first SFFD episode it is about firefighters whether it be being there at the beggining of an auto accident to turning off a fire alarm during a black to just holding a victims hand. This is that show. David and the team are here to show the compassion, the caring the courage the sacrifice that these men and women make everyday. Just today I watched the special 48 hours with the SFFD strike team. After watching it I sent david an e-mail this is what I had to say..

         I just finished watching the new wildlands webisode and I must say amazing!. Seeing the SFFD back in action brought back memories. I Love the wildland series and I love San Francisco. And I must also say I agree with you 100% it's not all about fire. Just like Dorian says at te beginning. It's about the firefighters not the fire!. Thanks for sticking with the SFFD on these wildland fires. I am glad you were there to document the compassion and generosity of boths side's firefighter and civilan.

There work on this show comes from the heart as does the firefighters work it's all from the heart. So please remember it's not about the fire It's about the firefighters.
