NEWS UPDATE:

We, my team of three, have really worked our butts off to return to a weekly series, let's call in a mini-series.

Starting tonight, at 5:00PM-PST, we will begin a mini-series for six weeks with the Milwaukee Fire Department: We are back to Fridays a Five for the next six weeks...yes!

Tonight, we will introduce you to the crew of Ladder 12 and Battalion Chief Jones in a two-part webisode series.

SAN DIEGO FIRE AND RESCUE

We will begin filming next week, July 1st, with San Diego Fire and Rescue. This is a great department and I can drive there to film with them; this will be a great and very long term series.

They have me scheduled with the head of their Beach Patrol on July 4th and in their Helicopter on July 7th: we hope to bring you lot's of action from Southern California.

We are looking for a location in The South, so, it you are in a department that you think will "bring it on," have your Chief contact me at drf@thebattalion.tv

THE CONTEST:

Our very first Contest, the one we wanted to have last year, is back next week. No big money give-always, but some cool firefighting gear and some fun stuff.

We will now try to get more members so as a whole, we can use our force to contact decision makers at the Capital and have a voice as to the direction that our country has taken with cut-backs.

We will be talking about cut-backs in our webisode tonight and next week, and the week after...

The last webisode from Prince Georges County shows only two on an engine. We have now put this on YouTube for all to see.

You should email your congressman and tell him to sign the new bill that funds the fire service that is currently on the table...

I have tried to keep my politics out of my series but I can no longer hold my tongue.

Let's all do what we can to secure our Nation and keep it safe.
