This is not a big fire show but this is one of my favorites; the real job of helping people.What I saw here with this firefighter Thomas at 52 becoming a firefighter was very inspiring.

The medical call I was on with the man who had Diabetes... Their are a lot of folks out there that want a free ride to the hospital and want pity; not this guy. Here was a man who really wanted his dignity and the crew from Engine 26 stayed there and helped and monitored this man until he was healthy to be on his own, a truly great call.

Our shows need to be short because they are on the internet but we were their for over an hour. People brought him peanut butter Sandwiches and Orange Juice, then, Dr. Pepper and they continued to test and to monitor...I was really great...that's the real deal...save lives....
