Well done on episode 6 for

Smwrigh4 — Mon, 09/01/2008 - 13:34

Well done on episode 6 for Kentland. I am especially glad that Chief Tony Kelleher was given the opportunity to address Kentland's often controversial aggressiveness. "...We make old school ways work for us today...," as if there should be any other way in the fire service, well said Chief!

Regardless, the style of the episode was well played out with a good balance of action and discussion. The Helmet Camera views in the ending action footage were a nice touch for the viewers who are not firefighters and don't get to see the inside work for themselves. The ride along footage (traveling to and from the scenes) is a good ballast for the other types of footage in the films, however, focus on member interviews, station life, and action footage should definitely take precedence in your films. I am unsure if you have finished filming for Kentland, but a nice thing to see more of would be training and drill footage, some of the other departments have shown this (DC) but I've yet to see any from the Kentland series.

Great episode, I thought it

FF Maveric EMT-B — Mon, 09/01/2008 - 19:17

Great episode,

I thought it was cool that the firefighters had the Fire helmet cam on, so we could see what was going on, I wish we could see what was going on during that DC Apartment fire.
