Dear Battalion Viewers,
Next week we will be back with the last Platoon at Engine 10 - Truck 13. We filmed 24 hours a day for eight days at Engine 10/Truck 13 and bring you the last of the four platoons.
We would like to thank the National Institute of Health for having us during the Inauguration, no big calls but still exciting to be in Washington D.C. during a time of change for our country.
Firehouse World was really slow this year on the Expo floor. The economy is killing the manufactures of products for the fire industry. With Cities and States running out of money their are little funds for fire departments to buy what they need and for some departments just to pay the first responders. It's just not right...We need to open the fire houses that have been closed and need more first responders Nation Wide!!!
This economy has hit us as well and we want to be here for you.
We are not asking for free money nor want to charge a subscription fee; we want it all to be free for everyone. We gave away over $120,000 in free downloads of our shows and now...We ask for your help…
Just BUY A HAT OR A TEE SHIRT FROM THE BATTALION STORE TO HELP SUPPORT THIS SERIES FOR FIREFIGHTERS EVERYWHERE.
Click on the Battalion Store Banner above to check out our GEAR.
Help us continue to be here for you. Just buy one hat or one tee-shirt and use our UPS Ground, that's all we ask of you. If everyone buys just one item we can keep the series going and hopefully come back as a weekly series in the near future.
Fallen Firefighters; Our prayers go out to the families of the two volunteer firefighters from Craigsville Beaver Cottle Volunteer Fire Department that died while fighting a structure fire yesterday morning.
Please be safe out there...
Sincerely,
David Furtado
