This 24 starts with roll-call, including Deputy Chief Whiting, now the Assistant Chief. The Columbus Fire Department maintains the checking of hydrants seasonally, and the Rescue crew takes a sector of their 1st Due. A tour of the Rescue and the tools they use is next. We then ride on Engine 17 to a vehicle fire. Next up, man down on a bike, then they catch a call, called off; time for dinner. Just as they finish up, a call comes in for vehicle accident. As night falls, Rescue 17 is out the door.
